Hey fellas, I just got my Bird and having an awful time trying to get accessories. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I'll pay for shipping regardless of the price.

Items I'm interested in:

OEM TBars
TORS or other short exhaust
OEM Single headlight cowl
OEM Rocket 3 fly screen (I know It isn't a 1600 part but needed for my project and can't find it anywhere)

Thank you!

Most of the accessory production finished around 2017 so they are becoming very difficult to obtain. You may have to keep an eye on the UK Ebay etc and FB pages. Some here in Aus are even buying complete bikes to get what they need then on selling the donor. Good luck. Sadly this forum isn't what it was in the early days of the Tbird.

Leethal is correct, motley assortment of dented headlights and various bits here on eBay/US, too ("Thunderbird 1600").
Might be some short TORs there....
Google "Triumph 1600 T-bars" = ?
And check Fast Eddy: Link and Link

This sucks, these guys at Triumph don't support their product. Seems like HD does the same thing and have a 10 year cap on how long they'll have parts for their bikes.I had the same issue with my 01 Speedy. This bird will be the last triumph I buy. The bikes outlive the company's support lifespan and what are we supposed to do, resell for less than 50% of the purchase price and buy new again? My Suzuki VStrom in spite of being 2014 has strong support from the company and a wide gamut of aftermarket accessories available, yet Triumph doesn't seem to give a crap about the people that buy their bikes and doesn't give it a second thought. Riders love their bikes and customize them however they want, and then maybe mod them again after a few years but there's no reason to get rid of a bike that you love because there's no parts for it any longer. I love the Bird but might be time to sell and buy a newer version from a company that looks out for the people that feeds them.

It's unfortunate that Triumph offers limited bike accessories but it's not an accessory driven company. And as you said, Harley is another example (to a lesser degree). That's where aftermarket parts and creativity bridge the gap! There're plenty of examples in the forum archives. If you insist on "OEM" parts, then sell the Thunderbird. Btw you can post your new ride in the "Other Bikes" section.

My Bonneville outlasted the entire company. When the Thunderbird came out, I paid cash. My 4th Triumph.
Nice avatar, BTW, it fits. ;-) Just have to be resourceful, and sometimes creative.
